Hi hels

You have come to the right place to find both support and people who can totally relate to what you're saying and going through. When I first realised that it was a big step for me - we are not alone and we are not going through this alone. We are all here to help, support and advise each other.

I'm really sorry to hear your story. It's a hell of a shock to hear anything like that, but we have all been there and are now at different stages of the grief process, and we can tell you that it will get better in time, you will get over it and there is a future out there for you

Call back into wiki whenever you can or whenever you need to. Keep talking and sharing and we can get through this

Thinking of you and sending you hugs

Hi Helieg, Welcome to Wikki. I'm so sorry you are going through this, you are in the right place now to get all the care & support you need. Its so sad when a partner wants out of a marriage & seeks comfort or sex elsewhere, often theres little we can do to save it, their minds are often made up long before we realise. You do need to talk to him more, make sure its all over before seeking divorce or telling the children. You say you tried coundelling, it didn't work, maybe he really has given up & wants his freedom. Somehow you need to accept it if this is the case. It will be hard but we are here to support you through it all. Keep posting, read others posts, theres NOTHING wrong with you at all!!!!
You deserve to be happy in life, if he isn't making you happy you may need to move on & just live for the kids awhile.
