Hi new to this whole thing but could really do with some help and advice.

I'm 36 my husband and i split 2 years ago after he had an affair. He is from the caribbean and returned there straight away. We have not seen each other for 2 years and spoken maybe 3 times in that time. After he left I found out he was in huge finanacial trouble, and a loan I co signed for, for him has now been dumped on my head and added to the mortgage. After all this time and a break down on my part I am now ready to proceed with the divorce. He wants nothing obviously as he left the country and I stil have the house (although its still in both names). All we both want now is a divorce but I do not have the money for an expensive lawyer. I have heard it can be done inexpensively online but do not no who or what websites i can trust. Can any body help me with this so I can move on. I've been told these chat rooms sites are amazing help so I am more than ready for any advice you can throw my way.

Hi there Red

Welcome to wiki

I cant help with legal questions but help is here and will be along soon !

You could try the number at the top of this page to get a free half hour phone call with a solicitor , that would help you to understand how to proceed now . There is also an online divorce service you might be able to use. ( under divorce services at top)
have a look through this site over the weekend to give you some help

good luck to you
