Hi Calam.
welcome to wiki and my world. If you crosspetition it takes longer.I know someone who started a few months after me ,got nisi and absolute should be at the end of the month.
The way mine is going I will need to ask for wardrobe allowance to attend court.
I am sure we will get there in the end,I hope it is before I am eligible for OAP.lol
take care

I am the Respondent in divorce and after 12 months I still don't even have Nisi. Ex is totally spiteful and vindictive. I imagine that Nisi to Absolute will not be plain sailing either. It all depends on the type of person you are dealing with.

Mine has made the word acrimonious into a an art-form.

Hi

Sorry to disappoint you but I am now officially divorced -have court orders in place and he is still not abiding .. This has been on-going for nearly 18months and I am back again to the solicitor this week because now he won't lower the price of the marital home which is in the process of being sold so he is holding up things yet again. And I am still awaiting certain financial payments from him.

The court ordred this in August - November now and still waiting.

It goes on and on.........

But don't worry there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Just be patient and you will get there we all do on here.

Good luck
