husband left me 6mths, left me with all unpaid bills and to tell the children he was leaving that day as he hadnt told any of them.
He left as he thought i was having an affair which i made clear was never on the cards.
He also hurt our child which left that child very distressed, and even today that child sleeps with me.
I cant pay the bills as i have had to give up my job and get a job with fewer hours.
I am lucky that i even have a roof over my head,
One of my older children has turned against me and is very abusive whenever they see me and has made my life hell and i end up in tears and then i find it hard to cope.
I have to live each day one at a time as i have found it so hard
I sometimes dont even no how i will feed my child or myself
HELP ME IF YOU CAN.

Hi Melissa

Im no expert, ive just started the divorce proceedure but you need to get yourself some legal advice or ring the helpline at the top of the page. As far as i'm aware your ex has a duty of care to both you and your children and as such should be paying towards the family bills. Be strong, you've scraped by for 6 months already, congratulate yourself on that and get some legal help asap.
