Hi,

I will do my best to keep this short. I have been married for over 7 years. I went abroad and got married in pakistan. I came back and applied for my husband's visa and he joined me in the uk in 2002. He stayed with me for 2 months, but he never worked-i supported him.
Anyway, he left me and after a month i found out i was pregnant with twins (2 beautiful girls who are 5 now).

He has NEVER supported me or even paid any child maintenance BUT HAS ALWAYS DEMANDED MORE MONEY FROM ME.

What i want to know now is, Can i put in a claim with the CSA for the non payment for both our girls as the immigration have tracked him and he is waiting to be deported. Can he claim the house which i purchased after our seperation??? I am alos looking at a quick divorce from him to which he is not agreeing to. PLease advice

Hi Cindy,

Thank you and nice to hear from you. I will keep a close eye. I want to get out of this mess as soon as i can.

He has never provided any financial assistance. I did contact the CSA but they could not trace him when the girls were born. I work as a childminder and a part time florist and my family have helped me a great deal. He knows he will be deported eventually therfore he is trying to get every penny out of me. The immigration have his passport for nearly 2 years and still have not deported him despite 2 letters from the local MP, and phone calls from local police authority. I am more angry and dissapointed with the immigration people.

Once he's back in Pakistan it might be impossible to get money out of him, but I can't see that you owe him anything.

Your marriage is of short duration and he hasn't contributed to it.

I don't know about the legalities but you will probably get some informed answers soon.

Keep posting.
