I recently got married (7 months ago) and now as me and my husband are unhappy, we want to get divorced, but I need to know first if I'm legally married in the UK, as we went abroad to get married.... No complications, only house and few assets to sort out!

Would appreciate any help or advice I can get please.

Just replied in your other thread: meant to add - you cannot apply for divorce until you have been married for one year.

Also: There's a short term marriage clause; whereby each party usually takes out what they put in; and so who paid for the house might be an issue.

It's best to answer the questions divorce lawyer asks:

www.wikivorce.com/divorce/Divorce-Forum/...ccupation-Order.html

Wiki users can give you a ball park figure of what you could expect; and you could have a Consent Order ready; which needs to be court approved; usually done before Decree Absolute granted.

Hopefully you'll have no problems.
