nearly 3 years ago my husband & I split up as we hadn't been getting on after 6 months we reconciled. Then I found out my husband had been sleeping with 2 women behind my back during a before we split!!! We decided to get past this & stay together. Then I found out he'd been sending texts of a sexual nature to a couple of my friends. He made his excuses I started divorce proceedings, but somewhere along the way we decide to give it another go!!!!!!!!!!
For the past 12 months we have slept in seperate rooms & we have no sex life!! However i have no interest in sex what so ever!!!! We seem to be more like lodgers!!
On Xmas eve I was preparing the video camera for xmas day & I discovered that my husband had been filming our female neighbours gardening, hanging out washing, etc like a peeping Tom!!! I felt sick!! Even though they are fully clothed etc I just thought about how I would feel if it was me who was being filmed!!!
I haven't confronted him, because I didn't want to spoil Xmas (we have a 5year old).
I just do not know what to do, apart from trying to avoid him!!!
I feel like such a mug!!! I don't know which way to turn!!!:(

Hi and welcome. :)

In answer to your question: No; you're not an idiot.
Like many of us, we've given several chances to our spouses, albeit to no avail.

Your ex's behaviour is not normal, in fact, I'd be tempted to show the footage to the neighbours and friends involved, since I think this is a violation of their rights; to be secretly filmed within their gardens or private residence.

I think stalking at this level is an arrestable offence. I think the Police should decide if action needs to be taken, and this may at least begin to make him look at this pervurse behaviour.

Not sure any of that will help your marriage; but unless you're in an open marriage; i don't see how you continue with someone who is a serial adulterer.

He might just say that his missus took the video. After all, her "prints" are all over the camera!!!!
