Hi there,
I think I must have bored all my family & freinds with my marrige breakdown by now so decided to introduce myself here instead!
I am 36 & have 2 kids under 5 who are great. I split with my husband in May last year, the relationship had just fizzled out & we were just 2 adults stuck in the same house & I felt pretty much like a single mum anyway. We have put the house on the market but haven't discussed how any equity will be split or wether I will be able to get mortgage of my own!
Things were amicable at the start but have deteriorated & he generally walks out if he disagrees with anything I say. The only comunication seems to be via text.
I have got to the point where I dont know if he's going to give me any money towards mortgage etc or turn up to look after kids when I am working. Don't really know where to go from here, have tried downloading the divorce petition forms but have no idea how to fill them out & would be grateful for any advice.

Have you been to see a solicitor. Some of them do a free initial consultation.
