Just had the 'let's separate' conversation with husband. Was feeling on my own with lots of questions but then found Wikivorce so hopefully things are not as bad! Does anyone have any advice as to how to cope. After 8 years of marriage and 2 very little children, it all seems so scary and yet we cannot carry on like this.

Hi there

Welcome to Wiki.

Pop into the chat room, there is usually a friendly ear to be found in there, or just post away in the forum and get it all out.

Take care

Amanda

Welcome to Wiki, both of you (Mag and tired)

There are a LOT of people on here that have been where you are now. So you are no longer alone in this.

Things are really hard at first, try to do things slowly and not let panic take over. If you have to, live from minute to minute. I don't have young children, both of mine are adults now but it doesn't make it any easier.

The main thing is to look after yourseld first, keep the kids happy as possible and take it easy.

If you feel at a loss, come in here and tell us, we can help you, there is usually someone on here at all times (a lot can't sleep either :P)
