why doe sthe judge decide who pays for divorce?

just received a letter from court about the cost of our divorce. Was told by my solicitor that i would get legal aid , ive now had this letter saying that a judge will decide who pays not sure wat this means .. any advice

It means the judge will decide if you have to pay the other person's costs. It has nothing to do with your legal aid.
