Think they are just messing about Cali ;)

Instead of an expensive gift, why not treat her to a romantic day? breakfast in bed, stroll along the beach/river, cosy lunch in a pub tucked away, lots of laughter and talking.

Romance isnt about spending lots of money on generic gifts (and some of the "gifts" inthe shops just now are soooo tacky), its about showing someone that they are special and you care for them.

Personally I don't think we women get enough pampering, so I would start with a rose and breakfast in bed. Followed by a facial or beauty treatment at a local beauty clinic (they always do valentine specials)then a little afternoon nap (if you know what I mean);) The a meal for two in the evening, she won't know what's hit her!!
