From a woman's point of view I find the day a reason that business's put their prices up and men should not stick to one day of the year to show how they feel.:( So I would personally prefer something that doesn't cost money. Ruby's idea may be perfect for you or many small gestures like writing three words out in an unusual way. Or making a card out of the queen of hearts from a pack.
It's all about the sentiment rather than the cost. I think it's great that you are taking the time to think about it. And for the rest of us girlies on wiki, we would all appreciate chocolates, roses and wine please:laugh: , in fact if you order the wine by the box you will get a discount on quantity ha ha!!
Can't wait for the future when I have a partner who will be appreciating me:kiss:

My advice is stay firmly away from any household appliances particularly kitchen or cleaning) and think carefully if it's something you'll like (play station etc is not seen as acceptable).

Great quote from two and a half men is never buy a present for your partner that you would mind being thrown at you. ;)
