Quick question, as a student would I qualify for legal aid as a petitioner?

Thanks

It depends upon the outcome of your financial assessment. The hoops to jump through to be a student are different from the hoops to be entitled to legal aid.

If you are entitled, your divorce will be dealt with under legal advice and assistance (legal help) which is 'legal aid lite'. You may be entitled to fee excemption in full or in part. This means that you pay between £0 and £385 for the court fees alone.
