I have posted details of an event in Manchester November 28th when the German Christmas markets are in the city.

I hope this gives enough time for parents to make arrangements for child care and for those who plan to travel to Manchester,to take advantage of cheaper rail fares booked in advance.

If you haven''t been to a wikimeet before, please don''t be nervous. It''s good to relax and talk to people who understand without you having to explain how you''re feeling, they already know. There''s always lots of laughter too.

Sign up and join us.

I can vouch for everything Mitchum says. It is so good to meet others who understand what you are going/have been through. True about the laughter as well. I''ll definitely be there!

Bumping this up.

The wikis who have already registered will have a great time, but would certainly welcome others joining us on that day.

I would love to come but it is not practical ths year. I have travelled a long way to wiki meets in the recent past and I want to re assure the haverers and waiverers that hardly any of the wikis have more than one head - and joking apart sitting with this lovely group of varied people, listening to their stories, lives and laughs reassures you that it really is not ''about us'' in many cases (or if it is - then maybe that''s ok too?).

Anyway - don''t be scared - or be scared and go anyway. You will be welcomed and looked after by strangers who may understand you better than friends. Other wikis have been where you are.

Take care.
