We never signed off on the finances, he had a lot more than me but had hidden stuff so well and was being so devious that I gave up on the fight as it was so stressful.

He has now passed away - what would my chances be if I challenged his will - he has left everthing to his sons ( they aren''t my children). We were married more than 20 years.

Barbara,

Sorry to hear about your ex. The important question here is whether you had a Decree Absolute. Also had either of you started financial proceedings against the other? You say you gave up on the financials. How long ago was this?

I think you need to take legal advice as a matter of urgency.
