I was actually thinking about that just the other day NWTT! Mother Nature knows a thing or two, I thought, my eyesight started blurring a little at close quarters at EXACTLY the same time I needed a more ''soft focus'' look and.... hey presto! :D

I suppose you could drop hints (for family and friends) who are stuck for what to buy you for Mothers Day/Birthday or Christmas - once they know you like a certain brand skin care cream or the beauty parlour does vouchers - you can have your treats without feeling guilty about the expense :)

My local college has a beauty school and quite often asks for people to practice on for next to nothing!

BB = Blemish balm or base - it''s great as a base for your foundation or as a light cover during the summer.

Thanks Ruby ! Now why couldn''t I think of that !

I am tempted to get some following your description as it is currently marked down.

And thanks for your suggestions WR - I may check out those training colleges.

I use Morisons own Anti-wrinkle cream £1.99 sooo much cheaper than the expensive brands and can anyone say if any of them work. Also another great tip i''ve stopped buying magazines as you can get them from the library for free!!

Recently I was in a store looking for concealer. The shop assistant gave a demonstration saying I just needed a little for the bags under my eyes. After applying the concealer she decided I needed a bit on my nose, then the forehead and chin. She then stood back, looked at me hard and said it was no good I needed it everywhere! :S

On a more serious note it''s worth trying Amazon''s subscription service to see if you can save money on health/dental/beauty care. If you have a subscription for one item a month there is a 5% saving or for 3 items 15%. Some items are cheaper elsewhere but it''s worth comparing prices to see if you can save money.
