Hi all...some advise if possible please. Thank you in advance if you respond.
Current situation is seperated from husband of 30 years who is a retired Scottish senior police officer in receipt of pension. Is it recommended that I have an actuary report done for true value instead of valuation from pension administrators.?
I would prefer to retain assets which we have, mainly property and offset rest in pension sharing if there is still money owed to me as I would have to wait until I am 60 so looking for an income to supplement my own wage.
Also no dependent children so would he be liable for spousal maintenance? I have always worked but very low paid compared to him as he travelled a lot and I adjusted my work to bring up my son which suited us both.
Thankyou...
