Is a CETV enough?

Hi, I'm currently trying to reach a financial settlement with my ex wife.

We both work and have had CETVs exchanged between our solicitors. The difference between the two was around £10k in my favour, however an admin error by my pension company (they inadvertently sent another letter, addressed to someone else, along with my CETV) has been picked up by her solicitor, and he is now suggesting that it may not be my only pension. It is my only pension.

Now her solicitor is requesting full access to my pension, my solicitor isn't keen on the idea. So how much information has to be given? I have nothing to hide, the financial split from the house, which is agreed in principle and massively in her favour, more than covers the difference in CETV values.

Thanks

Could you ask your pension provider to provide a letter to acknowledge their mistake and confirm this is the only pension you have with them? Seems it is their error that has raised suspicion and the solicitors wouldn’t be doing their job if they didn’t question it.

Yes I have done this, my pension provider sent out an updated CETV with a cover letter acknowledging their admin error.

The updated CETV was worth more money which has led to the solicitor asking more questions. I got promoted in my job shortly after we split which has led to a higher basic wage and more pension contributions.
