Yes, as respondent you can take the lead in financial matters.

I share your concerns about what he may be doing with assets.

You need to have at least attempted mediation. This may just mean attending one meeting where a firm is signed to say it is not going to work.

You will need to pay a fee to file form A and take the matter to court but it is worth checking if you are eligible for her remission.

It is perfectly possible to represent yourself in financial matters. Our helpline can provide advice and we also have a range of cost effective services to support self-reppers as well as all the advice and help available via the forum.

Many thanks for your reply - really appreciate your input
I have since contacted him in order to get things moving with his solicitor - no response.

He is definitely hiding thing - 2 cars within a year!
So I will have to apply to the courts
However the costs scare me - Can I apply for him to meet the costs - seeing as I did not want to go down court route? As well as being low wage earner?

Can courts ask for 2 years evidence with pay slips?

Do I send him an email stating - we need to attend 1 mediation session - what if he refuses? Do I just state this on the court form?

All these delays that he keeps putting up makes me more aware that he is up to something - and I will be left with nothing.

I did book a telephone support call through wikivorce - but no one called me.

This is turning me into a nervous wreck - so I would really appreciate any help that can get this moving forward.
Thanks for listening x
