Hello, recently going through this divorce stuff and we have agreed a financial agreement, however my wife went to a solicitors to discuss further and start a financial break order and was told she could not be represented as the deal was not in her favour.

Reason is pension pots were never included however we both agreed to not include them in the agreement we put together and also a point related to the timeframe for when I get the equity in the mariitual home as I moved out and my kids and wife live there, within the financial plan we outlined 7 years when my daughter is 18, which I thought was fair.

Now my wife is asking about pensions and I'm more than willing to give her 50%. She does have one, but its smaller than mine; however with giving her 50% she will have more than me, is this a suitable proposion?

And also what timeframe should I request for when I get the remaining equity in the maritiamal home as it was agreed a 50/50 split of equity having a small mortgage and large equity, but she can't give my equity due to not be abke to afford a mortgage of the amount buying me out, if this makes sense. I wanted the kids to remain there to keep them as balanced as possible, but I can't leave it for years as I need to move on in my life.

If you're happy to share your pension the easiest thing to do is get them both valued and work out how much you need to transfer to her so that you each then have the same amount.
