Hi
Today I received a letter from my ex's solicitor asking me to confirm

1= That my property was brought in joint names with my son for the purpose of obtaining a mortgage

2= wanting me to confirm wether my son has made any payments to the mortgage since purchase

Considering the solicitors first letter to me stated "We understand the only issue to resolve is in relation to pensions" - (as house/savings divided 50/50 in 2014)

Yes my son is on the deeds
No he does not pay anything -as a low wage earner he helped me secure a mortgage ( but will get a % when i sell)

When we exchanged financial statements -his solicitor did not send me his house valuation as they stated it was not applicable?!!

Why is she now asking me questions about my house?

How do i respond?
Do i have to tell her anything?
Is this too my advantage/disadvantage?

Kind regards

Morning
Thank-you WYSPECIAL & Under60
Short -sharp reply it is then

Do you think she is trying to dig for something as i cant fathom why she is now asking this?
Surely if she wants to use this in court -it would be to my benefit as my equity is shared?
Have a good day x
