Hi, I hope someone could give me some feedback please.

I have a Consent Order with spousal maintenance on a joint lives basis. I have a pension share which I can take from the age 60. which I turned 60 last month. The Ex has just applied to vary the maintenance to discharge on the basis that I could take my pension now. I decided to defer for all the relevant benefits, i.e growth, lump sum growth tax free, inheritance planning . What I'd like to know, is the court likely to order me to take my pension before I intend to at 65 so that the ex can be discharged from spousal maintenance. The SM doesn't currently meet my income needs. Any thoughts would be welcome.
