Hi, does anyone have any opinions on stonewalling from a spouse?

Whenever my wife was unhappy with something she gave me the silent treatment for about a week. She wouldn't communicate what was wrong. I had to guess.

I now realise this was stonewalling and it was wrong of her to do that to me.

She has not talked to me now for almost one year.

There's a long back story to it...and two sides to the story.

Anybody else experienced prolonged silent treatment?

Morning Ave' bloke,

I've never been treated that way by my ex or my current partner...but WOW, that sounds dreadful.

Are you still living under the same roof ??

I know there are 2 sides to each story but omg, I don't think i could live in that sort of enviroment, it can't be healthy for either of you.

I would really have to reconsider my circumstances if i were in your shoes. I'm sorrry i can't be of any help or give advice, but think long & hard about...do you want to live like this for much longer, & how long can it go on. Maybe you can talk to a mutual friend to help find out wht the problems are, maybe you can then startt to work on things.

Good Luck & Best Wishes G
