If my ex re married and takes on a step child does my CSA payments reduce ?

Yes, it does the child becames part of the family and a reduce of I belive 2.5% is allowed.

He will receive a variation on his contributions as he will be living in the same house as a dependant child - regardless of whether that child is his or his step-child. I cant recall the exact variation.

Yes it would be regardless of whether the child's mother is receiving CM for him/her or not.

Is it possible to work out an amicable agreement for CM between you and your ex?

No sadly due to his GF we have had to go down the road of CSA, before she came on the sceane we were all amicalbly and running smoothly and sadly since she has come along the boat has rocked to much to almost capsizing
