As the other posters have said - its a formula that doesn't take personal or individual situations into account.

I guess thats the difference between having CSA and a private agreement :unsure:.

Its worth bearing in mind that both parents are responsible for financially supporting their children. While the current system (CSA) is unfair - on both parents - it is the only child support collection system in place at present.

Not all parents with care receive child support (I dont,), sometimes we just have to get on with what we have. My view is that while my daughter is financially unsupported by her father, and has chosen to move to the other side of the world, it is me that benefits from seeing her smiles each day.
