Oh my god! I thought I was the only one living this nightmare. What is your situation if you don't mind me asking - my husband is there until the end of the year and of course says that it is over. He is still paying the bills at the moment so I am sitting tight until I decide what to do. I have been going through this for three months now and it is getting slightly easier to deal with - I think that's more because I am over the initial 'shock'.

Take care

Linda

I think we're all going through the same things at the different stages, I can totally relate to the little things you miss like the talks in the bath etc., and they hurt more than the big things like sol letters. That bliddy black cloud gets you at the oddest times and I can have half a good day then something sets me off and i'm spiralling down. This site has helped me enormously, not only with the support and love of the members but also with information and advice that you didn't know existed.

The best advice heard time and again but oh so true is day at a time, tiny steps, slowly slowly inching you towards some sort of peace as things come to an end and you can move on, it might not be soon, but it will be here eventually.

Keep on going.

After the months of black clouds I finally started moving forward with help from family & friends & counsellor.

Best advice I then got about the return of the black clouds was;-
It's Ok to lapse, don't relapse.

Now I find I'm just chilling out :P

It does get better in stages!

best wishes

Kalamari
