Hi anyone out there that can give me a few tips on what to do with this bleading form she keeps pushing under my nose !
"I'ts only to get things started" she says,
However how do i know if she is going to keep to what we have agreed on ?

Can you give us the name of the form and exactly what it is for.
You say transfer of equity. Is it a TR1?

Thanks Zara2008, It does not say TR1 the only code on it is the societys YBS 0794MR GI,However under the heading WHAT LEGAL ADVICE DO I NEED? IT STATES.For any transfer of equity,a legal adviser must be appointed to act on behalf of the Society and the transferee(s).It is not necessary for a separate adviser to be app to act on behalf of the peoplle(ME)being removed from the Morgage,"the transferor(s)",but they may wish to do so!.
But how do i get her to KEEP the AGREEMENT on Money & Property ? THANKS & REGARDS brokebloke50

Perhaps you could give more details of your situaton. Not sure whereabouts you are in, divorce/separation etc.

Is it the case that you are divorced and this is a document you need to sign in order that your ex gets the property. Has there been a court order. If you could give a few more details we might be able to shed some light on why you have to sign it, and why you feel she might not keep to her agreement.

Hi Zara,We have lived together for 10 years in this property ! not married, but "just" splitting up!.I lost my job last November & at that time everything was fine!.However since the credit crisis she wants out of the relationship & wants to buy me out of the property,we have both had it valued & come to an agreed figure for her to buy me out.
If i sign this form how do i know i'll get what has been agreed?Also what about personal effects & furniture & stuff?that has nothing to do with the equity?.I hope that is clear,as it is as simply as i can put it! SORRY!. Again I can't Thank You enough for your help Kindest Regards brokebloke50

Co-habiting is treated differently to marriage.

Was there ever a deed of trust drawn up when you purhased the house? This would have stated that you would receive x% each on any sale of the property.

Have you seen a solicitor Has she secured her mortgage? You should receive your money as stated on the TR1, is there a sum stated on the TR1? Her solicitor should confirm that she has a mortgage in place, on completion, her solicitor will forward the money you are due directly to you. Dont sign the TR1 if you have not had confirmation from her solicitor that she has a mortgage in place.

Usually in a divorce it would have been drawn up in a court order.
This is only done in co-habitation if one party wants to force a sale.
