My sister's surname is Caux, pronouced 'co'. When she had her first child we went through all of the unfortunate names possible, such as 'Tess' and 'Mexi'...

I was at school with a lad named Martin Ferrily (swap 1st letters around. Much later, I worked with John King - great in english, but in Spanish it becomes Juan (pronounced hwan) King. He hated it.
