Thanks Eliza, I too feel shame at my divorce because I never wanted anyone else. But he did this to me twice and all my friends tell me that he is a lowlife controlling person and that they don''t know how I put up with him. Truly I don''t want him back and I can''t talk to him and haven''t seen him in months... I only communicate by email and on my terms now so I know how you feel.

Thanks and take care
Pebble.

Well the Decree Nisi has been granted and all that''s left is the financial settlement to be signed off by the court. I''m settling into my new place and feeling much better without any contact with him. Each day I feel a little stronger and more at peace. I miss being part of a couple but not him. And I don''t care about what he and OW are getting up to anymore.

Have got a couple of weeks to rest up and then my new life begins in earnest.

Hugs wikis

Big milestone today because I saw my ex today for the first time in seven months. Was driving and saw him parked up in my old car. He looks so old!!! To be honest last time I saw him in traffic I was nearly sick but this time I just thought you sad old pathetic git!

I guess I''m moving on slowly...

Happy Easter Wikis

I know that feeling Pebble.... I see mine now and then in passing. We still both live in the same village. I find it hugely difficult being anywhere near her after she told friends and family so many lies about me and why we separated. I never thought I would grow to actually hate someone but I have. Slightly ashamed of myself for feeling like that tbh.

Sounds like you are getting there at your own pace. Hope it continues and the financials settle and its done soon.

One thing I have learnt is to accept how I feel whether it''s anger, hate, love, loss and grief. It''s only been seven months since I found out about him and my divorce is almost at Absolute. Everything happened so quickly and I''m still recovering. But each day gets a bit easier. Be kind to yourself.

Any tips on moving on and getting STBX and OW out of your head, I still have to have contact due to kids and it destroys me a bit more each time especially as he''s still so controlling.
