Hi,

I MUST be Oldie as I have never heard of any of any of the artists or songs mentioned here except Tina Turner :(

My song is "Get a Bloomin' Move On' better known as 'The Self-preservation Society' out of the film The Italian Job.

There's also 'Five Minutes' by The Stranglers, but that's because it takes me 5 minutes to be almost there!

YA

Great thread, its going to be a huge one!
I haven't heard of some of bands, but I'll definitely be having a listen. My feel good songs are really cheesy, one that springs to mind would 'Bad Girls' - Donna Summer.

Wonderful Life - Black

Here I go out to sea again
The sunshine fills my hair
And dreams hang in the air
Gulls in the sky and in my blue eyes
You know it feels unfair
There's magic everywhere
Look at me standing
Here on my own again
Up straight in the sunshine
No need to laugh and cry
It's a wonderful wonderful life
No need to laugh and cry
It's a wonderful wonderful life

The sun's in your eyes
The heat is in your hear
They seem to hate you
Because you're there
And I need a friend
Oh I need a friend to make me happy
Not stand here on my own
Look at me standing
Here on my own again
Up straight in the sunshine
No need to laugh and cry
It's a wonderful wonderful life
No need to laugh and cry
It's a wonderful wonderful life

I need a friend
Oh I need a friend
To make me happy
Not so alone
Look at me standing
Here on my own again
Up straight in the sunshine
No need to laugh and cry
It's a wonderful wonderful life
No need to laugh and cry
It's a wonderful wonderful life
No need to laugh and cry
It's a wonderful wonderful life
No need to laugh and cry
It's a wonderful wonderful life
Wonderful life
Wonderful life
