The coding of the internal mail client interrupts any hyper link insertion to prevent off site migration, Totally fair and acceptable.

As far as we are aware the internal mail system allows links to be included in mails.

There is a slight bug though in that the link appears at the other end with some extra characters at the front.

Its a fairly simple task for the recipient to cut n paste the link (removing the extraneous characters) into their browser for viewing.

Oh and we second Mike in his statement that it's totally invalid to say DL is the only practising contributing lawyer on the forum.

Attiladahun is just one other prominent example of someone who has given countless hours totally voluntarily and has been a true credit to his profession.

I don't think it is for the good lawyers to answer the accusations levelled at the bad.

In fact I have no doubts that they prefer spending their time providing help and advice to the majority of posters on Wiki who need and are glad of some free professional assistance.

Why is it fair that people can post hyperlinks to law society yet I cant link my blog to reference my case. I am putting my neck on the block here trying to get some change for the better.

Moderator Note: The link to an external blog was removed for the third time. Do not attempt to post that link again, nor mention any firm by name, nor swear on this forum. This is a final warning. Any further violation of the forum rules will result in an immediate and permanent ban. This forum is here to help 16,000 people not as a platform for personal crusade for one person which could result in the site being shut down.

Hi Mike!

Sorry I forgot attiladanhun! Not been here and kept up with everything for a long time!

I was just trying to make the point that whilst there are loads of Lawyers and firms who advertise on here or did, there are'nt alot of them that actually post and help out!

Which is a real shame because I think that one day Wiki will be a force to reckon with!

I for one just want a fair and smooth path for all this divorce law, it seems getting lawyers involved can at times take folk down a path that they had no wish to start and it quite quickly gets out of hand, with fees running wild.
(From all your previous posts you can articulate this far better than me, as it seems we have both wanted the same thing in the past)

It seems mediation is the best way especially if you can all sit in a room and talk sensibly and have ALL the cards on the table, but unfortunately it seems alot of folk just cant do this.

I dont know what the answer is, I would love to find it. Just doubt it will ever be in my lifetime.
Heres hoping Wiki can in the future, with the help of decent lawyers and retired ones, move things forward and help get these antiquated laws sorted!

Three cheers for WIKI, hip hip!!!!!

Kindest regards
Louise

That is not fair moderation Look at the hits this post has attracted and comments. People have a right to know what is going on here and your moderators note says it all. IT IS NOT A PERSONAL CRUSADE BY ME and that is a gross distortion seeing as you have access to my blog that quite clearly explains what this is all about
LAST POST PLEASE FROM ME.
Your e mail client is rubbish as well

Arnie,

You, the Wikivorce members and the Wikivorce team want the same thing.

"An end to inefficiency and profiteering in family law."

Your strategy is the blow the whistle on the profession and on individual firms you have crossed swords with. You can do that - you have nothing to lose.

You want to rally people to a cause to campaign against the law society, resolution etc.

We appreciate your aims, but for pretty obvious reasons, we cannot provide a platform for a campaign against an individual named solicitor or firm. Linking to your blog would be as good as endorsing it.

Wikivorce are taking a different strategy, we will drag the family law industry kickng and screaming into the internet age and introduce a previously unseen level of competition in the market for UK family law services.

We will take on the old guard on OUR favoured battleground NOT THEIRS. We won't fight them in the courts, nor via the regulators, but through fair competition in the free market.

Arnie...

Who will win if you take on the lawyers in the courts, or through parliament?

>> and..how many decades would that take?

Who will win if Wikivorce compete fairly in the internet space?

>> and..how many months will that take?
