A lot of people have suffered in many ways on this site and will carry on suffering.

What people want and need is positive thinking, advice and support from others.

So calm down mate before you have a heart attack.

An alive father is more use to his children than a dead one.

Arnie,

The moderators and other people involved in this site have also experienced poor service from traditional solictor firms (but in fairness not to the extent that you seem to have).

So please know that we share not only your pain/frustration (over the badly flawed system and the damaging impact on peoples lives) but also the determination to do something about it, and to use the internet as the tool.

Have you thought about why Wikivorce was set up in the first place? It certainly wasn't to maintain the status quo.

So please Arnie, take some deep breaths, and save some strength for the long fight you have ahead of you.

Oh - and give the moderators a few hours off ;)

Arnie
You need to be a bit carefull . You know that I am 100% on your side , but there is a danger that you could find yourself "at war" with the mods ,and not just solicitors .
There is also the fact that you could find yourself monitered by the establishment as well .
I had an argument with the solicitors form when we bought our house . my ex decided to use them for the divorce . As I am known to them ,I have found myself "Blacklisted" , and known and circulated to all firms of solicitors . I have been followed by the police ,and have am having my phone tapped , and web activity/emails monitered (so they are well aware of all the "progressive" websites I visit .
When I mentioned that I was aware of what was happening to my solicitor ( who I know is in collusion with ex's) she got a bit nervous ,and just stammered , err.. umm ....ohh......(cough) and said no more , which speaks volumes .
Remember ,there is no closed shop like the establishment .
Remember , it's the establishment that are the enemy , not this website
Good luck , comrade

I have been utterly appalled by the tone of this blog! Whilst I have sympathy for those who feel frustrated by the legal profession and I like many others resent the huge bills that hang over your head well after the divorce is finalised, this is not the place for individual ranting. I have read this thread from start to end and at no point did I discover what all this was about. It is a real shame as there was help and support available on this site if he could have seen it. If you are still on this site Arnie, good luck but don't let this destroy you.

I too have been absolutely appalled by this thread.
I feel that as arnie's feelings are so extreme and he's so determined he wants to proclaim it to the world...then put it in a book.
a.
it'll allow you to rant and rave to your heart's content without causing aggravation to others in the privacy of your own home
and
b.
it'll allow the rest of us at wikki to carry on as we were... being supportive towards each each other, without being offensive to those who freely helped us, as we were before our site was blighted by your raving.
I am amazed that this offensive attack on all solicitors has been allowed to continue.
I'm sure any sols who offered us free help and advice have been totally put off reaching out to help others on wikki.I only hope they realize that arnie doesn't speak on anyone else's behalf except his own.
I applaud wikki team for their tolerance but I'm sure they too hope that arnie may soon see sense and stop.

Hello,

Mike, I believe wscowell is also a solicitor and he has certainly helped people on Wiki, for free, gratis and for nothing.

Thank you AS for your web page, there is too much to absorb in a single sitting and I am trying to balance the hydra-headed tail-end effects (ridiculous description deliberate!) of my divorce with my new-born life so bear with me please.

Before I saw your web page AS, I saw you as burning with a passion that does come across in your posts as a personal crusade. Having said that, I will read your blog, but I can't promise to explore all the links.

In the meantime, perhaps when you have had a chance to think about it, you might respond to my two earlier queries?
