I think sometimes its a case of the ex taking stock of their lives and blaming the other for themselves not being where they want to be..hence the need to get rid of. There's not much you can do about that really.

Right, am off to the hardware store to stock up on superglue...don't want my hair ripped out by all these new age cavemen!

I am saddened by the stories by the men on here and amazed that they think that what women want is a "cave man type"
No thanks.

There is so much more I could say here. But I won't.
Suffice to say what I have read has angered me beyond belief.
So I will leave you all too it and hope that you find happiness.

I do think the "caveman" bit was said tongue in cheek, at least I took it that way. I think the point is that their wives were obviously looking for something different (hence the reference to being "more of a man- or caveman"). Being treated as a doormat and taken for granted for the "boring bits" that you put into a marriage is not just for wives! I do agree with you though that most women probably do not want a "caveman"

yes Lucretia,

It was a rather 'tongue in cheek' comment, don't take it to seriously, as i said it would take a hard person to be like that, i am not naturaly that way inclined, as most men these days, it was meant to tell me to get on in life and don't get so deeply involved, get out and enjoy myself, until the next relationship, but perhaps not to be too overpowering in the relationship and make time for friends again, as personal space is needed from time to time, without having to be any less a loving, caring person toward your loved one.
