I'm suggesting that he can't just throw you out on the street because he wants to. Even squatters; who take up residence in homes that they do not own; do have some 'rights' (having to be legally moved by Courts etc).

You're NOT a squatter. It's YOUR home as well. Until a court decides who keeps it; who resides there; or your needs (to be re-housed) are addressed - there's little he can do to remove you.

Regardless of whose name is on the Deed Title; it is matrimonial property. He is WRONG if he is assuming it is his only; and he's WRONG if he feels he can kick you out!

If you go voluntarilly that's your choice. Don't let him intimidate you further. He really can't just kcik you out. My ex called the Police (August 2007) he said I was smashing up the house. (I wasn't! I was sitting having a cup of tea, watching Big Brother) they saw him as the aggrssor, and asked him to leave until the next morning when he'd calmed down.

The Police did ask if we were legally married; "YES!" once having established that; they knew my rights to be there.

Dont panic!
Your solicitor is calling tmoz
Have a coffee , gather your thoughts and jot down calmly what you need from your solicitor . I think you can call above number as well anyway but dont waste your call , make sure youre clear about what you need from them . You really just need to confirm your rights to stay in the house until finances are sorted and be told clearly what you need to do to make sure this happens .

He is telling me every day that it's only his house.
He is keep saying that he plays dirty games with me. Now I see what it's means.

Well let him read this thread. Then tell him that under Matrimonial Law in the UK; it is Marital Porperty (until it is divided under Divorce)

You can't stop him 'telling' you that. But you can become empowered with the law.

Just stop playing victim to this controlling, intimidating person. If you already have MHR registered; what is the purpose of spending more money at the sols?

Luckilly there are laws and rules that protects you from being ousted without good rason.

For everything else there's Wiki; and women like me who have had to endure the same process, (this time a year ago!)

So why he applied if decree Absolut cannot be granted without financial side sorted first? Are there any possibilities that it might be granted?

Dunno! But there is a freephone number at the top of page: Why not ask???

Forget what he says; forget that he's asking for it: Just find out how to prevent Absolut before Financial Outcome.... and get back to us so we are informed for the next time the problem arises!
