Thank you everyone!

I've been out with a friend this evening and had a great time. She has two boys and we first met her when we were both expecting our eldest sons.

She told me she thought my husband was being a total prat and living in fantasy land and reinforced my own view that I am being more realistic which bucked me up.

Had a lovely time - and you are right, it is good to "live in the moment" and not fret too much about things that may or may not happen.
