I disagree most strongly with the idea of locking this thread.

If people have strong opinions that are unwelcome generally then they can be barred form the site.

in this instance there is a situation where Marko, who is in desperate confusion, may gather information about how his new love's husband may feel - something he may not appreciate at the moment.

It is also insightful for those who think they are approaching a similar situation.

Argument can be both constructive and instructive. The little collateral spats are demeaning to Marco and his life and in this I would agree with Turumbar, Wiki deserves better than that.

Marco, have you considered that your assessment of the situation is within a context of emotional turmoil already? Can you trust your own judgement to the extent that you can listen and take on board comments that you may not like to hear?

My own opinion in this is that you ought to let the situation slow now. Give yourself, your wife, your new love and her husband time to let everything sink in. This is an instance when striking while the iron is hot is highly inappropriate.
