My stbx is 35 and an alcoholic drug abuser. I have thousands of these funny moments.
Having previously stolen money from I should have known better but......I placed a cheque for £300 in our only joint account (as this bank is nearby and mine miles away) Asked wife if she could withdraw the cash for me (as she was going there that day) and I really do have no money. She then texts me to say she has lost the cash, paying in book and front door keys. I insist that we bolt the front door to prevent them being used by burglars. This is inconvenient for her and amazingly she is handed back the keys......by a local publican......who was given them by someone who found them on the village green. No sign of the cash tho'
Priceless

"I arrived at work at 7am" - I had watched him arrived at 8am

"I have not been unfaithful to you" - I had just told him of the texts and pictures I had seen on his mobile phone, including the one which said "we both know this baby isn't yours" (cos he has had a vasectomy).

"I will be the one to divorce you, because you couldn't possibly have any reason to divorce me" - Other than the affairs and the mental cruelty.

...and while in mediation, when discussing trigger events for the sale of the FMH, the mediator said one of the triggers would be if he moved a woman into the home or got married, to which my Ex replied "I am never going too live with a woman or get married ever again." The following June he moved in his mistress and admitted he'd been seeing her for a year... five days later she left him, lol.

Oh... and he met his next girlfriend 5 months later and they got engaged less than 2 months later.

Via her sols, two letters on the same day.

One saying that she wanted the divorce to be amicable with draft petition attached accusing me of everything under the sun - this is three weeks after she said she wanted 6 months separation.

The second, talking about my occupation of the house and a threat that she would get me chucked out!

Mine, refused to admit he was having an affair, he has since told me he'd asked her whether they'll be more than friends, and she said NO, she only wants him to be her friend!!!!

How corny is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Serves him right!!
